Small Utah city along the Price River at the western end of the Book Cliffs — described as the longest continuous escarpment in the world — Helper is home to the Western Mining and Railroad Museum, which documents life and industry in the region from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It sits on U.S. Route 6 between Provo and Interstate 70, making it a natural stop on the drive between Salt Lake City and Grand Junction, Colorado.
