Once home to the world's largest fishing fleet around the mid-20th century, Grimsby is a port city on the south bank of the Humber estuary in Lincolnshire, with a walkable centre thick with listed buildings, cafés, and restaurants. The Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre tells the story of that fishing era, while Grimsby Minster is among the town's prominent landmarks. The city merges with the seaside town of Cleethorpes to the south-east, and its town charter dates to 1201.
