Ghorahi, the largest city of Nepal's Dang Valley in Lumbini Province, is known for its high-quality honey and hemp textiles, and serves as a gateway to Bardiya National Park to the west and the Hindu pilgrimage sites of Swargadwari, Pandaveshwor, and Ambikeshwori. Surrounded by the Siwalik Hills to the south and the Mahabharata Range to the north, it also provides access to Rara Lake and the districts of Rolpa, Pyuthan, Salyan, and Rukum.
