Split by the Ucero river into two distinct historic cores, El Burgo de Osma-Ciudad de Osma is the cathedral town of Soria province in Castile and León. The cathedral of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción anchors El Burgo to the east, while the older settlement of Osma — tracing its roots to the Celto-Roman Uxama — sits to the west.
