Don Torcuato

This town in the Tigre district of Greater Buenos Aires, Don Torcuato has a compact centre with cafés, restaurants, and a concentration of historic churches, and connects directly to central Buenos Aires via the Belgrano Norte rail line. The town takes its name from Marcelo Torcuato de Alvear, a former Argentine president who kept his ranch and residence here, and many of its streets are named after his family and government staff.
