Crosshaven
Ireland
Coastal village in County Cork at the mouth of the River Owenabue, Crosshaven has a good spread of cafés and restaurants for its size and scenic views across Cork Harbour. Originally a fishing settlement, it grew as a garrison town for Fort Camden and later as a tourism destination after the railway arrived in 1904. The Royal Cork Yacht Club, founded in Cobh in 1720, relocated here in 1966 and brought the Cork Week Regatta with it.
