Coma-ruga

Spain

A pocket-sized seaside resort on the Costa Daurada in Tarragona province, Coma-ruga sits directly on a long sandy beach and carries a café and restaurant scene that punches above its size. The surrounding area is deep wine country, and UNESCO World Heritage sites lie within the wider region. Part of the municipality of El Vendrell, it was an independent settlement until 1946, when it was absorbed from the former municipality of Sant Vicenç de Calders.
