This little village in the Ain department of eastern France is known for two things: its pink sparkling wine and a copper factory — once the only one of its kind in France — that operated until 2010. Set in the Bugey area of the Jura massif, Cerdon sits in wine country with scenic viewpoints in the surrounding hills.
