Bujan
Albania
This northern Albanian village in the Kukës County highlands is known as the site of the 1943 Bujan Conference, a significant wartime gathering held in the Highlands of Gjakova ethnographic region shared between Albania and Kosovo. Now a subdivision of Tropojë municipality, Bujan sits close to mountains and near water, within reach of UNESCO World Heritage sites in the wider region.
