This member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France, Bruniquel is a pocket-sized village in Tarn-et-Garonne sitting at the confluence of the Aveyron and Vère rivers, on the border between the Quercy and Rouergue regions. Three Natura 2000 protected zones surround it, covering the gorges of the Aveyron and nearby causse landscapes, and the wider region holds UNESCO World Heritage sites.
