Brielle

Netherlands

A heritage-dense historic seaport on the western edge of South Holland, Brielle sits at the mouth of the New Maas with a concentration of listed buildings, several churches, and a café and restaurant scene that outpaces its modest size. The town also borders the Brielse Meer, a dammed section of the Maas that has developed into a recreational area. Brielle, New Jersey takes its name from this Dutch original.
