Blackburn

A Lancashire mill town with textile roots stretching back to the mid-13th century, Blackburn is also known for Blackburn Rovers and for a South Asian food scene that developed alongside immigration from cotton-producing countries. The walkable centre has a heritage-dense streetscape of listed buildings and public parks, and the town sits on the southern edge of the Ribble Valley, with the West Pennine Moors close to the south.
