Batibo

This small town in northwest Cameroon sitting at the ecological boundary between equatorial forest and savannah, Batibo is the cultural and commercial centre of the Moghamo-speaking people and the wider Widikum region. Formerly known as Aghwi, it lies along the Trans-African Highway southwest of Bamenda, with mountains nearby and water within walking distance.
