B'lao tea, a registered trademark grown at altitude in Vietnam's Central Highlands, has made Bảo Lộc a city associated with the country's tea industry. Set on the Di Linh Plateau in Lâm Đồng Province, it also holds a reputation as a centre of Vietnamese silk production. The walkable city centre has a solid spread of cafés and restaurants, with mountains close by.
