Bakuriani

Georgia

A small ski and mountain resort village in Georgia's Borjomi municipality, Bakuriani sits at the end of the Borjomi–Bakuriani railway line and is connected by road to both Borjomi and Akhalkalaki. The area holds traces of megalithic culture and an early medieval religious structure known as the Pantnari Temple. A handful of cafés and restaurants serve the resort crowd, and the mountain setting makes it a draw for winter sports.
