Arinsal
Andorra
This tiny Andorran ski village high in the Pyrenees, Arinsal draws winter visitors with slopes suited to beginners and intermediates, and is particularly popular with English-speaking skiers. The old village core remains visible beneath the resort development that has grown up around it. In summer, the valley offers walking and mountain biking, though many bars and restaurants close outside ski season, so visitors should plan accordingly.
