The cloud forest around this modest municipality in Antioquia's northeastern subregion forms the primary habitat of the chestnut-capped piha, a critically endangered bird found almost nowhere else on earth. Anorí sits close to mountains and alongside water, making it a practical base for anyone drawn to the region's forest ecosystems.
