A small town at the foot of the Cévennes in southern France's Gard department, Anduze sits on the River Gard with a café and restaurant scene that punches above its size, vineyards in the surrounding countryside, and mountain terrain offering scenic viewpoints. The town holds three protected historic monuments: a covered fountain classified in 1914, a clock tower listed in 1978, and a grand temple classified in 1979. A Natura 2000 site — the Falaises d'Anduze — lies within the commune's natural area.
